The story of the drama Aye Musht-e-khak revolves around two different personalities having difference faith and beliefs. Sana Javed played the role of Dua , a girl with strong believe on Allah. Dua is very noble, calm, and confident girl who have done M.phil in Islamic studies. She always tried to practice Islam in her real life but there comes a turn in her life where a person who don't believe in God comes in her life. 

He was the son of her mother's friend Mustajab played by Feroz Khan. Mustajab show affection towards dua in a family gathering  and decided to marry her. In start she refuses but in one or two meeting he was succeed to convince her. 

Both the family decided to marry their children's while Dua and her family does not know about the beliefs of Mustajab.

After marriage, Dua cames to know that Mustajab does not follow Islamic life. He was unaware of Islamic values and beliefs because he was brought up in America and his mother didn't learn and inculcate islamic values in her. But know she wants that Dua do that. 

After Dua knows about his beliefs she decided to got separated. Mustajab loves Dua so much and he does not want her leave that but Dua's family file case against him also Mustajab's mother realizes her mistake and  testify that he is an atheist.

Mustajab play another game and came back with the tag that he becomes Muslim. In start no one beliefs him but just to convince them he completely adopt lifestyle of a believer and succeed to get attention of Dua.

Dua once again ready to marry him but an accident happen a night when thieves shot Dua and she got injured severely. That accident changes Mustajab mind that he will not get Dua but if Allah wills. He decided to leave Dua because of guilt that he lied to her. 

After that he starts a new life, the real journey of Mustajab towards Allah started and he spent his life according to the Islamic rules.

The drama depict the journey of a person towards Allah and how a person leaves his own desires when he starts establishing his relationship with his creator and how a violent person becomes calm after he comes towards right path.
